Actually, Vitamin E applied to skin MAY cause dermatitis and worsen the appearance of psoriasis. If one is considering Vitamin E as a treatment for psoriasis, it would do more good when ingested as it is more readily absorbed in the intestines then through skin. Still, there are few studies regarding the benefits of using Vitamin E (in supplement form) and they don’t seem to show any improvement in the skin condition.
